Atlanta was winning behind Matty Ice, The Panthers had only beaten teams twice, Tampa would win if they were in the West, New Orleans continued their Super Bowl quest, Houston was watching their playoff dreams shatter, While Jacksonville didn't know what was the matter, Indy continued their postseason dash, While Tennessee's season continued to crash. The Redskins and Shanahan made their fans sick, The Eagles were winning behind Michael Vick, Dallas's season had been such a shame, If the Giants don't make it, Matt Dodge is to blame, Matt Cassel was winning out in Kansas City, The Broncos were losing and it wasn't pretty, Oakland was back (though it wasn't enough), The road for the Chargers was going to be tough, The NFC West was led by the Rams, Though it could be stolen by 9-loss San Fran, The Cardinals were bad, just about the worst, But at least they weren't starting Charlie Whitehurst, With 10 wins, the Ravens were still in the mix, Carson in Cincy couldn't stop throwing picks, Fans up in Pittsburgh thought this was their year, Colt McCoy gave the Browns reason to cheer, Chicago had 10 wins, but no one believed, Green Bay was hoping for a number 6 seed, The Lions had doubled their wins from last season, The Vikings were worse, and Favre was the reason. With the snow outside falling, just two weeks remaining, Most teams' playoff hopes were suddenly waning, But to those dreaming still of the big game tonight, "Happy Playoffs to all, and to all a fair fight!"
